14. Spark Your Passion
Use the weekend to do something that sparks your innate creativity or passion. I remember how much I loved listening to music and then hitting record on my grandparents’ stereo. I’d sing or rap my heart away, then play it back and laugh at myself trying to be Selena or Snoop Dog. These were the best of times for me. Since my identity as a mother has put singing on the back burner, I record my podcast—and I love it. - Miriam Simon, Mi Sí Coaching and Consulting LLC

14. Show Up For Your Staff All Year Round
Leaders can show up for their staff in three ways: working out vacation schedules that work for most, understanding their employees’ needs year-round, and creating an inclusive culture that provides psychological safety and belonging. Bonus: Listen to your staff to understand their perspectives on gratitude, the holiday season and what inspires them. Be transparent and share guidelines early to identify the best options. -Miriam Simon, Mi Sí Coaching and Consulting LLC

13. Honor Yourself And Share Your Knowledge
Have you ever met you? Publishing a book is transformational. You possess a deep “insider” view of your own thoughts, experiences and perceptions. You recognize things about yourself that have shaped you, which provides the vision to share with others. This is the way you can honor yourself, support your community by sharing your gifts of life and knowledge, and make the time to reflect and meet yourself. - Miriam Simon, Mi Sí Coaching and Consulting LLC

15. Set Up Next Year’s Calendar Now
Setting up next year’s calendars now will better prepare staff to manage their end-of-year work and prepare for the new year to include their holiday plans. Organizations should consider both nationally celebrated holidays and cultural ones that may not be known to all but should be understood by individuals’ direct supervisors. This demonstrates inclusion, belonging and business continuity. - Miriam Simon, Mi Sí Coaching and Consulting LLC
